Insurance Company Claims Team
Your insurance company will have an experienced member of their claims team work with you on your claim. If you are unsure of your insurance company or cannot find their direct contact information on your auto insurance card, please contact our team and we will put you in contact with them.
What you need to start a claim
They will ask you specific questions with respect to your accident or situation. If there are any injuries to you, someone in your vehicle, or the other(s) involved, they will need to know details and may assign an injury specialist to your claim.
Repair and Replacement
Most insurance companies have an approved list of qualified repair shops in all regions. These shops need to meet an insurers standards and if you choose to use this service, the work could also be guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle. These shops normally can expedite the repairs to your vehicle and arrange for a rental car if you have eligible coverage.
If the cost of your repairs are in excess of your vehicle's current value, it could be declared a total loss. In this event, the actual cash value will be determined by your insurer.
Deductibles
Most auto insurance policies contain a deductible. This amount would normally be deducted from your overall claim. You will be advised by your insurance company or a representative from MCT as to your deductible amount on your policy.
