Cottage and Vacation Property
We can provide insurance for your cottage or seasonal residence, depending the location and frequency of use.
Is your cottage more like a "home away from home"? Then your insurance needs may go well beyond the limited coverage typically available for cottages. We have policies that provide the same level of protection as a policy for your home.
You can add specific coverage for: Boats, Motors, Utility trailers. Also increase your liability coverage to protect against the hazards of waterfront exposure.
Travel Trailers and Campers
You can add coverage for vacation trailers and camper units to your home, condominium, or tenant's insurance policy.
This can include the built-in accessories and equipment that are part of the trailer unit.
- Attachments such as awnings can also be insured.
- Utility trailers can be covered separately.
- You should consider this option carefully, as your homeowner's policy may only provide limited coverage.
Boat & Motor Coverage
You can add boat and motor coverage to your home, condominium, tenant's or cottage policy. If you own or operate a personal watercraft (jet-ski), contact us to discuss potential coverage options.
For unique or more expensive craft, speak to our Marine Team about your individual marine insurance needs.
Remember that several provinces have new requirements for pleasure craft. To learn more, check The Safe Boating Guide.
