MCT was pleased to be able to place special liabilty insurance coverage for the Nova Scotia Ground Search and Rescue organization today.  This organization has been seeking additional insurance for a number of years but the additional cost has always been a burden to these volunteer driven associations.   WIth a recent lawsuit filed in British Columbia, search and rescue volunteers here have felt open to liability issues.

The Nova Scotia provincial government and the association were able to come to an agreement in October.  See Story Here    MCT's Risk Management team was pleased to be able to solve this problem for the group and place coverage to protect these volunteers in the future.
